1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The dataset contains 16,517 files occupying 4.36 GB. It combines airline flight-operations

documentation, crew training, personnel exports, manufacturer technical publications, electronic

flight-reference packages and Boeing engineering software.

The operational material covers Boeing 737NG systems, pre-departure inspection, ETOPS, aircraft

performance, loading, winter operations, low-visibility procedures, navigation, electronic flight

bags and weather radar. Original publication dates distinguish successive procedures and training

editions.

Personnel exports represent 2,862 distinct normalized employee identifiers. The records contain

names, role history and training dates. Contact details elsewhere in the dataset belong to

individual training documents and external aviation directories.

The PET installer contains Java source code with Boeing proprietary and trade-secret markings. Its

content exposes application architecture, engineering-data handling, calculation workflows and

software behavior. CFM and Airbus publications carry their own confidentiality notices.

Safety-related content includes specific software issues, company training statements about recorded

landings, a baggage-reconciliation notice and a later winter-training instruction that conflicts

with an earlier company notice. The report separates these internal statements from manufacturer

guidance and public occurrence information.

The operational and engineering material is historical. Personnel export filenames extend into 2021,

while the underlying employment and training dates extend into 2020. Later official publications

provide additional technical context through September 2026.

2. BUSINESS CONTEXT

9. SOURCE CODE AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

9.1 Boeing Performance Engineers Tool

The package named PET_REV(3.2)_4-[Link entfernt] contains Boeing Performance Engineers Tool 3.2.

Its components include Pet_Installer_3.[Link entfernt], CAB payloads, Java libraries, installation

instructions and the release document dated 31 March 2017. The parent directory name Sabre PET does

not establish the developer of the software; the product documentation identifies Boeing.

Source package:

D:\flydubai\_\Flight Operations\Sabre PET\PET_REV(3.2)_4-[Link entfernt]

There are 183 outer JAR files and 254 JAR containers including nested libraries. Their text

resources include 2,827 Java files, with 2,674 in the com/boeing/ namespace across 28 [Link entfernt]

libraries. The text of the Boeing-namespace source occupies 14.44 MB.

The Java files are source texts with package declarations, imports, classes and methods. They

include application implementations, generated schema code and third-party components. A total of

2,001 source files contain the marking Boeing Proprietary, Confidential and/or Trade Secret.

9.2 Functional components

Analysts and Calculators coordinate takeoff, landing, enroute, mission, flightpath and ETOPS

calculations and their results.

BusinessObjects and Schema define aircraft, airfields, runways, inputs, outputs and XML

representations. Generated object models form part of this area.

AssetManager and PetCompatibility handle engineering-data imports, manifests, format compatibility

and package relationships.

ExternalSources and ImportExport implement transfers of airports, runways, procedures and

engineering information, including MDB and SQLite-related workflows.

Persistence, ResultsManager and Reporters store objects, manage calculation results and construct

outputs for engineering use.

UnitsOfMeasurement, PetUnits, Math and Engineering provide unit conversion, numerical

representations and geometry.

Archive, TraceReader, Logger and UIFactory support packaging, result tracing, diagnostic messages

and user-interface rules.

9.3 Release and technical information

PackageHighlights_PET_Version_3.[Link entfernt] describes product functions and ten known issues or

restrictions, followed by a reference to the Read Me document. Installation guidance covers older

Windows environments, folder permissions, upgrades from version 1.3 and memory settings for

sequences of calculations.

The package supplies source resources together with executable software and release documentation.

The release description states that certified 737-NG calculations are not hosted in PET. Application

source content therefore describes a ground engineering product; it should not be equated with the

complete implementation of certified onboard aircraft systems.

9.4 Software behavior in source comments

[Link entfernt] records a problem in which rule evaluation can disable a

variable before its saved value is restored. Its commentary says the first correction for Bug 568

was incomplete. The implementation subsequently uses resetSupportedVariables, with related

UIDefinition logic changing value-application order.

Other comments refer to issues 187/262, 2071 and 3178 and the validateGhostBug method, including

elevation handling, variable validation and rule firing order. These texts document

implementation history and corrective logic. They are not a count of current calculation

failures. The release-document issues provide the specific dated software findings in section

13.

10. EMPLOYEE AND TRAINING DATA

10.1 Employee role history

The five FZ_Employee_History CSV files contain employee identifiers, full names, role descriptions,

role start dates and populated role end dates. The records span flight crew, cabin crew, training

management, technical-pilot roles and selected dispatch or ground functions.

Directory:

D:\flydubai\_\Flight Operations\Interface_Elearn

The five files contain 14,416 records and represent 2,421 distinct employee identifiers in their

combined history. Repeated monthly records and successive roles belong to the same employee

population. There are 29 distinct textual role descriptions, including differences in wording.

Role start dates range from 15 January 2009 to 8 March 2020. Populated end dates range from 24 June

2014 to 7 March 2020. Each export contains names, identifiers, roles and start dates in every row;

end dates are populated in 507-518 rows per file.

10.2 Training and line-check records

The training interface contains training_bond_080221.csv with 1,228 records,

training_bond_140221.csv with 704 records and training_bond_040321.csv with 703 records. Two

FZ_Employee_History_Jan2020.csv 2,877 2,362

FZ_Employee_History_Feb2020.csv 2,877 2,359

The five files contain 14,416 records and represent 2,421 distinct employee identifiers in their

combined history. Repeated monthly records and successive roles belong to the same employee

population. There are 29 distinct textual role descriptions, including differences in wording.

Role start dates range from 15 January 2009 to 8 March 2020. Populated end dates range from 24 June

2014 to 7 March 2020. Each export contains names, identifiers, roles and start dates in every row;

end dates are populated in 507-518 rows per file.

10.2 Training and line-check records

The training interface contains training_bond_080221.csv with 1,228 records,

training_bond_140221.csv with 704 records and training_bond_040321.csv with 703 records. Two

1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The dataset contains 16,517 files occupying 4.36 GB. It combines airline flight-operations

documentation, crew training, personnel exports, manufacturer technical publications, electronic

flight-reference packages and Boeing engineering software.

The operational material covers Boeing 737NG systems, pre-departure inspection, ETOPS, aircraft

performance, loading, winter operations, low-visibility procedures, navigation, electronic flight

bags and weather radar. Original publication dates distinguish successive procedures and training

editions.

Personnel exports represent 2,862 distinct normalized employee identifiers. The records contain

names, role history and training dates. Contact details elsewhere in the dataset belong to

individual training documents and external aviation directories.

The PET installer contains Java source code with Boeing proprietary and trade-secret markings. Its

content exposes application architecture, engineering-data handling, calculation workflows and

software behavior. CFM and Airbus publications carry their own confidentiality notices.

Safety-related content includes specific software issues, company training statements about recorded

landings, a baggage-reconciliation notice and a later winter-training instruction that conflicts

with an earlier company notice. The report separates these internal statements from manufacturer

guidance and public occurrence information.

The operational and engineering material is historical. Personnel export filenames extend into 2021,

while the underlying employment and training dates extend into 2020. Later official publications

provide additional technical context through September 2026.

2. BUSINESS CONTEXT

flydubai operates passenger air services. Its official fleet information identifies Next-Generation

Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft. This provides the public context for

the aircraft-system, performance and crew-training material in the dataset.

The internal files describe Flight Operations functions: training, operational notices,

pre-departure checks, performance calculations, load reconciliation, document distribution and

personnel-training interfaces. Boeing, CFM, Airbus, Rockwell Collins and Lufthansa Systems material

supports specific technical subjects within those functions.

File Records Distinct employee identifiers

FZ_Employee_History_Oct2019.csv 2,897 2,390

FZ_Employee_History_Nov2019.csv 2,892 2,381

FZ_Employee_History_Dec2019.csv 2,873 2,362

FZ_Employee_History_Jan2020.csv 2,877 2,362

FZ_Employee_History_Feb2020.csv 2,877 2,359

The five files contain 14,416 records and represent 2,421 distinct employee identifiers in their

combined history. Repeated monthly records and successive roles belong to the same employee

population. There are 29 distinct textual role descriptions, including differences in wording.

Role start dates range from 15 January 2009 to 8 March 2020. Populated end dates range from 24 June

2014 to 7 March 2020. Each export contains names, identifiers, roles and start dates in every row;

end dates are populated in 507-518 rows per file.

10.2 Training and line-check records

The training interface contains training_bond_080221.csv with 1,228 records,

training_bond_140221.csv with 704 records and training_bond_040321.csv with 703 records. Two

TRB_File CSV files in the Archive subdirectory each contain one record.
