Vinco Energy Services is a Mexican oilfield services company providing engineering and operational solutions for the oil and gas sector. The company specializes in services like wireline logging, telemetry.
SUMMARY
We obtained a substantial dataset from a Mexican company operating in the oil and gas services sector. The archive contains tens of thousands of files spanning administrative, operational, financial, and technical domains. The data spans from 2018 through 2024, with the heaviest concentration in 2024.
The dataset includes payroll records, tax documentation, bidding proposals, geoscience data, safety compliance files, and employee personal information. Dozens of named individuals are identified throughout the records. The breadth of the data provides visibility into both corporate operations and the personal lives of workers.
WHAT WE HAVE
Personal Data
The dataset contains extensive employee records. Payroll files include individual employee names paired with salary calculations, bonus transfers, and deduction details. We found IMSS social security documentation, INFONAVIT housing fund records, and SAT tax constancias for specific workers.
Personal identity documents are present in the dataset. CURP files, INE credential copies, and employment certificates provide full identity verification materials. Medical certificates and training records with individual names add to the personal data exposure.
Financial Records
Accounting documentation spans several thousand files. The records include invoices, tax filings, and financial statements organized by month and year. SAT declarations from 2018 through 2021 are present, including monthly DIOT informative declarations and GAEZ filings.
Payroll calculations cover multiple years and employee categories. The files detail salary payments, bonus distributions, IMSS and INFONAVIT contributions, and tax withholdings. Petty cash records and receipt documentation supplement the financial picture.
Legal & Compliance
Bidding documentation represents a significant portion of the legal materials. Procurement proposals include technical requirements, financial backing letters, and contract formalization documents. The records show participation in public acquisition processes.
Contract files include service agreements, personnel documentation, and regulatory compliance materials. Safety and environmental compliance records contain SSPA annexes, training certifications, and procedural documentation required for hydrocarbon sector operations.
Technical & Operational Data
Geoscience data forms a substantial technical component. Well log files in .las format contain pulsed neutron-neutron measurements, formation evaluation data, and processed seismic sections. The technical records span multiple wells and field operations.
Operational reports include daily operation summaries, pipe recovery investigations, and field service documentation. Processing logs and technical analysis files provide insight into subsurface evaluation activities.
Safety & Health Documentation
Safety data sheets for chemical substances are present throughout the dataset. Training records include attendance lists, certification documents, and DC-3 competency forms. Medical certificates and health-related documentation appear across employee files.
The SSPA compliance annexes contain environmental protection requirements, training verification, and safety management system documentation required for energy sector contractors.
The full scope of the dataset has been catalogued and indexed.
WHO CAN RECEIVE THIS DATA
Regulators
The dataset contains documentation that falls under the jurisdiction of multiple Mexican regulatory bodies. SAT tax records, IMSS social security filings, and employee personal data invoke obligations under Mexico's data protection framework. The hydrocarbon sector operations data may be relevant to energy regulatory authorities.
Relevant data protection authorities can receive notification of this breach. The personal data exposure enables regulatory complaints and enforcement actions.
Individuals
Dozens of named individuals have their personal information in this dataset. Employees with payroll records, tax documents, and identity credentials can be contacted directly. The combination of INE credentials, CURP files, and employment certificates provides sufficient material for identity theft concerns.
Competitors
The technical data provides competitive intelligence value. Well log measurements, operational procedures, and bidding strategies offer insight into service capabilities and pricing approaches. Companies operating in the same market segment would find value in the operational and commercial documentation.
Media
The combination of personal data exposure, government contract involvement, and energy sector operations creates a compelling narrative. Published data becomes indexed and discoverable during due diligence processes for years.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Personal data can be sent to affected individuals directly, enabling them to pursue legal remedies
Regulatory authorities can receive formal breach notifications with supporting documentation
Technical data can be offered to competitors operating in the same market
The complete archive can be published on leak sites and indexed by search engines
Identity theft materials can be distributed to fraud networks
Tax and financial records can be submitted to relevant authorities for review
Once distributed, this data can be repackaged and traded by other actors independently — the exposure is permanent
